As someone new to the USA, I was searching for an economical stay and Adelaid was the perfect choice. It was conveniently located near the market and I felt safe walking around even at night. The proximity to Moscone Center was a major plus. The breakfast provided was amazing and the staff was incredibly supportive. The dorms offered privacy with curtains on each bed, and there were plenty of shared washrooms available on each floor. The large lockers provided ample storage space. Additionally, the hostel offered affordable transportation options, and I rarely encountered any homeless individuals in the area.
Totally recommend this hotel.

The location of the hostel was great, with easy access to nearby public transportation and popular tourist attractions. The staff was friendly and helpful, providing useful information about the area. The hostel had a comfortable reading room where I could relax and unwind after a long day.
There was a musty smell throughout the hostel, possibly due to old carpet and rugs. The rooms were not well-maintained, with dusty shelves and dirty walls.

The value for money at this downtown hostel was fantastic, with a great room and helpful staff. The location was convenient, and the staff treated me with kindness and professionalism.
The breakfast items could have been improved, maybe by adding more variety to the options available.

I recently stayed at Adelaide Hostel in the heart of the city for a week-long trip. The staff was incredibly friendly and always ready to help. The dorm rooms were clean and comfortable, with curtains for added privacy and plenty of space to store belongings. I loved the wooden beds that ensured a quiet night's sleep. The location was perfect, within walking distance to downtown and the Powell Metro station. The hostel also offered a delicious breakfast, locker facilities with outlets for charging, and rental bath towels. I highly recommend Adelaide for a cozy and enjoyable stay.
Would recommend this hotel.

As low-budget travelers, we really appreciated the welcoming and inclusive community of Adelaide Hostel. The staff and guests were friendly and helpful. The 4-person female dorms were equipped with privacy curtains and ample lockable storage space, ensuring a comfortable and secure stay. The breakfast offered a variety of options, including fresh fruit, which was a rare find for a hostel in coastal California. The location of the hostel was perfect, just a short distance from Union Square and other popular attractions in the city.
Felt warm, but nothing to complain about.

The living room at this hostel is awesome, and the kitchen is really good too. The location is great, very close to Union Square and feels quite safe. Most of the staff were very kind, and the breakfast and coffee provided were a nice bonus.
Typically, when I stay at hostels, I have a lot of fun and meet interesting people. However, at this hostel, I found that not many people were interested in socializing.

My recent stay at Adelaide was fantastic. The location was central, making it perfect for exploring the city on foot. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Sean, who was always there to assist. The room, Triple Private Room , was clean and comfortable, ensuring a pleasant stay. The added privacy of the curtain and reading light in the shared room was a great touch. Despite a few minor inconveniences like steep stairs and no elevator, the staff were willing to help with luggage and offer storage. Power outlets in the bunk beds were a bit loose but did the job. I had a great experience at Adelaide Hostel and would highly recommend it.

I had a surprisingly good experience at this hostel! The rooms were clean and well-organized, and I loved the private space and light at each bed. The common area downstairs was cute and spacious, perfect for meeting other travelers. The staff provided free maps and helpful tour information, and I appreciated their handmade Great Stuff To Do List. Although towels were not provided for free, I was satisfied with the level of service considering the affordable price. Plus, the hostel's downtown location was convenient for exploring the city. I would highly recommend this hostel for a pleasant and affordable stay.

The location was great, with easy access to public transportation and nearby amenities such as restaurants and stores. The hostel offered a full kitchen and laundry facilities, which was convenient for longer stays.
The cleanliness of the place was not up to par, and there were some issues with the beds not being properly cleaned and the air quality in the rooms. the surrounding area was not the safest, and there were some limitations on access to the kitchen during dinner hours.
